Sanjay Agrawal,(New Delhi): On the occasion of 76th Independece Day, Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra, a renowned music school having achieved 18 years of excellence in music and dance established 19 centers across Northern India successfully organized the Grand Finale of its 6th Inter State Music Competition, namely, SATYUG RISING STAR 2023 at Satyug Darshan Auditorium,Faridabad. The finalists of Delhi NCR, Haryana and UP participated with full zest . The competition was completely based on classical music and Patriotism for which an inhouse book named ‘Maanveeya Chetna Ke Swar’ was also provided to the schools. The competition comprised of music and dance categorizing from class 7th to 12th and was judged by prudent and experienced jury whose presence and guidance kept the participants in high spirits throughout. School bagging First, Second and Third Position in both the categories were honoured with a beguiling trophy, Achievement Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs 5100/-, Rs 3100/- and Rs 2100/- respectively and participation certificates to all the participants.
The competition began with the welcome of the chief guest and lamp lighting by the Mentor of Satyug Darshan trust Shri Sajanji, Managing Trustee Smt.Rashma Gandhi, Ms Ranjeeta Mehta(Honorary General Secretary,Haryana state Council for Child Welfare), Guru Rozy Sharma (International Kathak Artist) ,Mrs Anupama Talwar (Chairperson Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra) followed by the welcome dance and song presented by the students of Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra.
The mentor,Satyug Darshan Trust ,Shri Sajanji sermoned to the audience that the timeless heritage of music and dance was effectively used even in ”Satyug” era to establish strong cultural and moral values in human beings so as to lead a virtuous life. In accordance with the then constitution of humanity, this custom was instrumental in firmly imparting excellence to the mind, conduct behaviour and inherent talent of every being and thus each one was a symbol of intellectual excellence in the field of gentility and civilization. Music being an influential medium, its quality has a bearing on the elevation or deterioration of society – and sadly, the later phenomenon prevails today. That is why present era is called “Kalyug”. In such an environment, true musicians should not remain mute spectators to the deterioration of Humanity. They must dedicate their talent and skill to revive time-tested human values and morality. Know that music came into practice not merely for demonstration of aesthetic or mental excellence, but in the firm belief that the knowledge of “Aatma” is directly accessible to the concentrated one pointed mind. Further, the power of pure music is capable of becoming the path of divine and with this purpose Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra came into existence so as to escalate the physical, mental and spiritual development of mankind which are the prerequisite for healthy mind and soul.
To achieve this mission, let us come together with full zeal and enthusiasm to restore equanimity to the mind and induce a state of “Ananda”.
Mrs Anupama Talwar,Chairperson Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra who herself is a singing and Dancing Exponent mentioned in her oration that Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra has its wings widespread in various cities like Delhi, Faridabad, Panipat, Amabala , Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Rohtak, Rewari, Bareilly and many more. She also mentioned that kala Kendra is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj which has been imparting education in Hindustani Classical music since 1926. She also mentioned that Satyug darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra imparts education in all three streams Vocal, Instrumental and Dance without any discrimination to all its students. She further motivated the participants by mentioning that music is not merely a competition, rather, it is a celebration of unity, harmony, and the boundless creativity that flourishes within each and every one of us.
Respected Principal Mr. Deependra Kant extended his deepest appreciation to all the participants and the music fraternity for their unwavering support and belief in the transformative power of music that made the event a huge success. He further, encouraged everyone to continue honing their craft , pushing the boundaries of creativity and making the world resonate with the vibrancy of your art.
